If your computer is not boots up are not stars up in
usual manner then curtain things you must be look after. And also you need to
check something’s one after another according to the problem your computer had.
Here we are going to see…
Now hope that you have connected your PC with power
and just pushes the switch on button. OMG! The screen comes up with nothing and
no booting is happens….
1. First
step you have to do is to put off the power connection and open the PC’s cabin carefully.
On the back of the cabin open the screws opposite to the motherboard pins/jacks
are located.
2. Remove
RAM and clean it with a cloth and put back gain in to the same slot. This may
fix your problem at least cases. Now again power on and push start button. (Without
replacing the cabin cover until fixing the problem).
3. Now
next thing is to remove the Hard disk connections both power and data. And then
again try to start it. If the system starts, then go to the CMOS settings and
restore it. After that just replace your hard disk and start again. If the
system not started, we can easily conclude with Hard Disk is a problem or OS in
HDD is a problematic.
4. If
nothing happens in the above two steps then you have to remove all the extra peripherals
like DVD/CD drives, Floppy drive etc. And the try out the same booting process.
If the PC starts, then first go to the CMOS settings and fix the date and time.
Then add the peripherals DVD Drive and HDD one by one. Finally again go to the
CMOS setting to check everything is ok like Boot priority, Date, Time settings etc.,
5. If
still the problem is there then it may be because of the SMPS, which is the
power supply part of computer. Supply’s power to every peripheral in the
computer. Here you have left with no
chance then replacing with newer or borrowed one to conform fault on SMPS.
6. If
none among the above is working and still the fault is not founded then it may
be a Motherboard fault. If motherboard doesn’t work then nothing will work on a
PC. Same as SMPS you have to change the board by brought newer or borrowing one
at-least to check and conform.
7. Finally,
a processor failure may cause the system fail too.
In case you find OS
problem in step 3, then you have to repair or to installing a new OS will nullify
the problem. In other cases you have left with on option than replacing the hardware’s.
Another option is there like repairing hardware too. But it’s a highly professional
process every one cannot do it as easy. These are all the basic checkups that
you have to do, when a PC goes down. And that’s it, hope this article is
useful. I will back with another useful article again bye.
